Beehive Baselines 08: Tanner Park Tanner Regional Park sits on Canyon Rim hanging over I80. The courts however are recessed in the park removing all traffic noice and creating a serene court with great views of the Wasatch. Taking the Bike Path up from Sugar House makes for a strenuous work out and good afternoon of mixed training.

When I first came back to tennis 7 or 8 years ago I had just moved to the sugar hood area and did a google maps search for tennis courts near me. I found these and drove right over to check them out. Unfortunately the were already out of commission back then.

This week we head to perhaps the most scenic courts in the Salt Lake area; Ensign Downs Park. With a view over looking the Capitol and all the way to the dramatic Wasatch mountains lining the east side of the valley it can be hard to keep your eye on the ball.
